Antique Oak Cladding

Antique oak first patina cladding from tabià boards, available in prefinished and solid versions, is made by recovering the exterior cladding boards of ancient tabià, which, depending on the exposure of the facade, took on different shades and tones, from brown to gray to black. Such cladding can be kept in the original coloring, or lightly brushed to bring out the grain. The recommended finish is with raw-effect water-based varnish, but a natural oil finish is also available.

Oak first patina siding from slices is a special siding, available in prefinished or solid versions, whose wood is made from the outer slices of beams. Its special feature is the significant cracking and the textural appearance related to the workings of the past, usually by axe. The recommended finish is with raw-effect water-based varnish, but a natural oil finish is also available.

Second patina oak cladding is made from the inner cut of the boards, available in prefinished and solid versions. Finishes available are with raw-effect water varnish or natural oil varnish.

Another exclusive option is oak cladding from briccola a special cladding made from the cutting of Venetian Briccole, or poles used in the lagoon to mark passable waterways. The particularity of briccola is determined by the passage of teredines that leave distinctive marks (small burrows within the posts) in the wood visible both on the bark and within the wood. These holes are grouted with black or color putty, and the recommended finish is with water-based, raw-effect varnish. Oil and tinted oil finishes are then available.
